JUSTIN'S TASTING NOTES:
ON THE NOSE: LEMON, LIME, HONEYSUCKLE, & WET ROCK
ON THE PALATE: LIGHT, BRIGHT, AND CRISP WITH A PLEASANT PLUMPNESS ON THE ATTACK THAT DOESNT OVERWHEM THE PALATE BUT GIVES IT WEIGHT & TEXTURE
WINEMAKING NOTES:
VINEYARDS: 72% ROZA HILLS & 28% SUGARLOAF VINEYARDS
VARIETAL: 100% SAUVIGNON BLANC
I chose these vineyards because of the clone of Sauvignon Blanc planted in both locations. This particular clone is known for producing fruit that leans towards the citrus spectrum, resulting in bright, zesty flavors that are perfect for sunny weather and summer dishes.
