Grown at Ciel du Cheval, this low-yield, high-quality variety is one of the classic grapes of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Thoughtful farming brought out Counoise’s lively character, resulting in a wine with bright acidity and a graceful, medium-length finish. Subtle notes of plum and strawberry mingle with hints of pepper and licorice, offering both freshness and complexity in equal measure.
